"Jasmine as Mermaid" (jasmer.gif, 578x770x2, 13499 bytes) is the
fifty-second in a continuing series of fine Disney fanart drawings by
Bob Ito <ito@[...]>.  You may wish to save this
description in a separate file for future reference.

One of the more amusing types of drawings in the Ito Galleries are the
pictures that answer "what if" questions...  "What if Belle had posed
for the Mona Lisa?" [Ito Galleries #5]...  "What if Belle had posed
for the Statue of Liberty?" [Ito Galleries #43]...  "What if Belle was
a mermaid?  [Ito Galleries #2]

On request of an admirer of Bob's work (whose name Bob, alas, has
forgotten), we now have a new "what if" image:  "What if Jasmine
were a mermaid?"  In this picture, we see Jasmine, whose lower half
has been transformed by the magic of Bob's pen, as a mermaid
playfully dipping her fins in a pool of water.  Jasmine's pet and
bodyguard, Rajah, looks on with a bit of concern.
