"Belle - A Portrait" (belle.gif, 724x868x2, 10944 bytes) is the 46th
in a continuing series of fine Disney fanart drawings by Bob Ito
As the boorish Gaston remarks to LeFou during the song
Belle in Disney's
Beauty and the Beast:
It is not my intention to answer Gaston's question here, but this
portrait lovingly crafted by Bob Ito shows that Gaston certainly had
good taste in females.

"Belle Walking Into The Sunset" (sunset.gif, 754x864x2, 13196 bytes)
is the 47th in a continuing series of fine Disney fanart drawings by
Bob Ito
The previous maintainer of the Ito Gallery images, Amberle Ferrian,
was known on rec.arts.disney and within the Future Disney Cabinet
(FDC) as the Theme Park Walk-Around Belle. Amberle recently left the
internet and moved back to California with her family. Bob Ito has
managed to capture the poignancy of her leaving in this image, which
depicts Belle walking off into the sunset, dragging her Plush Beast
behind her.
I know I speak for a lot of people on rec.arts.disney, as well as for
Bob Ito and myself, when I wish her well in her future life, and hope
that she manages to find fame and fortune, as well as a job in her
chosen field.

"Beast Blanket Bingo" (blanket.gif, 704x966x2, 23335 bytes) is the
forty eighth in a continuing series of fine Disney fanart drawings by
Bob Ito
The cast of Beauty and the Beast must have a particular fondness for
beaches, as they appear on the beach in a few of Bob Ito's drawings.
In this installment, we have Belle starring as Annette Funicello in a
remake of one of those beach movies that the "Mouseketeer that growed
up" made during the sixties.
Since my archive predecessor provided a song parody for the "Beauty
and the Beach" drawing (Ito Galleries #16, batbeach.gif), I've
decided to try my hand at doing one for this image. Think of this
song as being sung by the Beast Boys...

"Ariel on the Rocks" (arirock.gif, 567x755x2, 8999 bytes) is the
forty ninth in a continuing series of fine Disney fanart drawings by
Bob Ito
In this rather poignant image, we see Ariel sitting on a rock,
looking wistfully at the moon and stars. One can only imagine King
Triton's reaction if he knew that she was above the surface. But the
faraway look in her eyes indicates that such mundane matters are
probably the last thing on her mind right now.

"Home Run Aurora" (aurorahr.gif, 494x758x2, 7678 bytes) is the
fiftieth in a continuing series of fine Disney fanart drawings by
Bob Ito
In honor of the so-called "Pocahontas Series" this year, Bob decided
it was time for another baseball picture. Here we see Aurora, of
Sleeping Beauty fame, taking a home run cut. This sleeper is an
indispensible member of the Disney Heroines baseball team: the ball
is going... going... GONE!
Bob indicated that he chose Aurora for his subject in this picture
just to do somebody besides Belle or Ariel...

Gaston: She's the one! The lucky girl I'm going to marry.
LeFou: But she's -
Gaston: The most beautiful girl in town!
LeFou: I know, but -
Gaston: That makes her the best. And don't I deserve the best?

Little beauty, on the beach,
Are your charms so out of reach?
Do you love me, do you Surfer Belle?
(Little Belle, our petite Surfer Belle)
I've watched you for a spell,
You're a hot one, mad-moi-selle!
Do you love me, do you Surfer Belle?
(Surfer Belle, Surfer Belle)
We could live our lives together,
And have good times and then...
On the beach, I could kiss you
Again and again!
So I tell you in my arms,
"Stay away from Gaston's charms!"
Say you love me, won't you Surfer Belle?
(Surfer Belle, my little Surfer Belle)
(Surfer Belle, my little Surfer Belle)
